We are Proud to Announce Our 2023 SparkYouth Scholars!

This year, SparkYouth’s Scholarship Awardees include 60 college-bound NYC students from our grantee programs who were each selected to receive a general supplies scholarship from SparkYouth. These students are headed to a variety of prestigious colleges including NYU, Princeton, Tufts, Bucknell, Columbia, Rice, Vanderbuilt, Amherst, and John Jay College.

The SparkYouth Scholarship is designed to help first-year students finance educational supplies such as computers and books which are not typically covered by financial aid packages. The SparkYouth Scholars were selected based on applications detailing their academic accomplishments and reflections on how their participation in SparkYouth’s grantee programs set them up for future success.

SparkYouth NYC created the scholarship program as part of our continued commitment to creating boundless futures for NYC youth. We are so proud of how hard our SparkYouth Scholars are working to achieve success, and we are thrilled to assist them as they begin their college journey.
